Redwood City, Calif. - March 17, 2008 - Nouveau Systems today announced the immediate availablity of a new multi-edition version of FlowSpace 3. In addition to a wide range of technical improvements, the latest version provides 5x to 10x startup performance, and near-instantant restart times.
Tighter integration with Finder under Mac OS X and a new task bar icon on Microsoft Windows and Gnome based Unix desktops provide immediate access to application features such as editing and running workflows. Mac OS X users, can now also launch legacy Automator workflows from within a FlowSpace workflow, and trigger FlowSpace workflows from iCal and other applications. This new level of desktop integration makes FlowSpace the ideal automation choice for every desktop, and especially for organizations who use a mix of desktop envirionments.
FlowSpace 3.2 also includes a set of fully documented workflow applications that demonstrate how to use FlowSpace to create real-world web-based applications. The examples include both pre-loaded workflows, and detailed whitepapers with designs and step-by-step walkthroughs of each application. The graphical workflow development envirionment is now available in three editions. Personal Edition, aimed at individual desktop users, is available free for non-commercial use with no registration required. Professional Edition is aimed at workgroups, while Department Edition is for department-wide deployment with no per-user installation required. FlowSpace is available now on a wide range of systems, including Windows 2000/XP/Vista, Linux, Mac OS X, Solaris, and HP-UX.
